While fans have been fiending for a new album (or any new material at all, really) from Beyonce as she traverses the world on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Queen Bey has been more than a bit reluctant to talk about new music. However, fans finally caught a break when a backstage superfan hustled a date out of B. Now we have Ne-Yo talking details, and it seems that the supreme diva isn't quite sure where she wants to go on her next release.

"I'm still putting stuff together for Beyonce's album,"  Ne-Yo told Billboard. "They're still trying to figure out what they want that to be, which I'm not mad at. Beyonce's the kind of artist where you're not gonna see it till it's right. And her fans -- they love her so they'll be patient."

The music mag also reports that Bey has been working on new material since last summer with Ne-Yo, The-Dream, Ryan Tedder and Sia.

While we have heard some new stuff from Bey recently ("Bow Down", "Rise Up" from Epic, "Grown Woman" for Pepsi and "Standing On The Sun" for H&M), it's not clear if any of these cuts will make the final album.

Ne-Yo also spoke with the magazine about Jay-Z's recently announced new album Magna Carta Holy Grail, which HOV expects to release on July 4.

"I went in, I did a session where I laid down a couple hooks but I have no idea what's going to be kept," the "Let Me Love You" singer said.  "I heard some of the new stuff. It's amazing. With Jay-Z it's hard not to be amazing."
