Despite Kenya Moore denying her landlords allegations that she failed to pay rent, Kenya couldn't deny it in court. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star failed to appear at a Fulton County court Tuesday to stand up to her landlord, thus the Judge ruled in the landlord's favor-and now Kenya is "Gone With the Wind."
Kenya was renting a $4000 a month mansion while she was filming Bravo's RHOA, and according to her landlord Conya Reems, Kenya failed to pay and Reems was seeking to evict her.
Following the judge's riling Reems issued this statement to Radar Online.
"I am making this statement as a result of the eviction order and judgment made against my former tenant, Kenya Moore, on June 18, 2013 in the Magistrate Court of Fulton County."
"The decision to file this eviction notice regarding Ms. Moore was reached after pursuing every possible amicable way to settle this matter privately. I am grateful that the judicial system has brought finality to this eviction process and I look forward to regaining possession of my home."
Reems filed an eviction lawsuit against Kenya when she was sort $848 of her May rent, according to The YBF. Reems also says Kenya "defaulted on the terms of the lease."
Reems was not the only one displeased by Kenya's actions, according to neighbors; Kenya was "the neighbor from hell." A source told Radar:
"Owners are concerned that the value of their properties are going down because she has not maintained the landscaping, nor the pool, has even storied furniture outside and her dog is always on the loose."
Kenya was counter suing Reems, but according to Reems that suit was dropped as well. Maybe Kenya has another off camera dwelling in Georgia? When you fail to pay $848 out of $4000 it begs the question what's going on Ms. Fabulous?
