Justin Bieber is going to give the Beliebers down under a piece of the action when the pop star heads to Australia later in 2013

Bieber announced that his "Believe" tour (in support of the album with the same name) will head to island continent for a nine-show stint. The group of shows will open with two dates in Auckland, New Zealand at the Vector Arena on Nov. 23 and close in Perth, Australia on Dec. 8 at the Perth Arena.

Based on the pop star's previous tours in Australia, Bieber can expect more sold out concerts and raucous crowds during the upcoming trip.

During a stop in 2010, Bieber was scheduled to do a short set during a morning television show. Police got involved due to the huge crowds of female fans that showed up for the free performance and were forced to end the set after just one song. Girls "were being crushed up against the barrier."

In 2011, Bieber had an experience with concertgoers that were less obsessed with him. The star got hits with an egg while performing at the Allphones Arena in Sydney. The venue has since changed its name to Acer Arena, but Bieber is still doing a two-night stand when he stops in the nation's largest city.

Australia will be the last continent visited, we presume during the "Believe" tour, which has already made stops in North and South America, Africa, Asia and Europe. No comments yet on the possibility of an Antarctica appearance.
