Here are two of the hottest rumors surrounding music in 2013 - Eminem's new album and a potential Led Zeppelin reunion. And how are the legendary English rockers connected to the Slim Shady rapper? Through the viral Youtube mash-up entitled "Lose Yourself vs Rock 'n' Roll MeRx." Details surrounding Em's highly-anticipated eighth studio record and Led Zeppelin's (non-existent) reunion still remain a total mystery... so why not have a little fun while fan wait around for more official info?

Eminem and Shady Records producers remain very hush-hush about Shady's new 2013 album - there's not even a confirmed release date! But Mstars has fans covered on what they need to know... for now:

And as for rumors surrounding a much-hyped about Led Zeppelin reunion... as Mstars previously reported:

December 10, 2007 - the last time members of the legendary rock band Led Zeppelin got together to play a one-night reunion gig during London's Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert. No wonder so many fans are hoping for a full-out "reunion" tour in 2013-2014! Unfortunately, that's very unlikely to happen (former President Bill Clinton is probably devastated). Back in February, frontmant Robert Plant told Australia's "60 Minutes" that his calendar for 2014 was totally clear... insinuating that perhaps Led Zeppelin would hit the road again that year. But bassist John Paul Jones just doesn't have the time - he's currently busy working on his own opera based off of August Strindberg's "The Ghost Sonata." So... is Plant maybe looking for a temporary replacement, or is a Led Zeppelin reunion totally out of the question?

So, here's how Bill Clinton works into the potential Led Zeppelin reunion...

David Saltzman (of the Robin Hood Foundation) and film executive Harvey Weinstein approached Clinton in Washington, DC last year, asking him to make the "reunion" plea. At-the-time, Led's surviving members Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and Jimmy Page were in Washington for the Kennedy Center Honors. The plan was for Clinton to ask them to play during NYC's Superstorm Sandy benefit concert... he supposedly asked, they said no.

And for John Paul Jones, 2014 is all about the opera. There's not much room for rock.

"2014 is full of opera for me, at the moment," Jones recently said at an after-party for the London launch of the Philip Glass opera "The Perfect American."

"I'm halfway through the first act," the musician adds. He's currently working on a piece influenced by "The Ghost Sonata." Jones admits that the biggest challenge is "the sheer scale of it, I think. I don't know. I'm probably about to find out what the challenges are."

Meanwhile, Plant is currently playing shows with The Sensational Space Shifters... Page is working on remastering Zeppelin's full catalog. As for a Led Zeppelin reunion... fingers crossed?

As fans continue to wait on details surrounding Shady's new album and Led Zeppelin's "maybe it could happen" reunion, check this out:

Do Mstars readers dig it, or is the beat just totally off? If anything the ending's pretty epic.

Hmm, maybe there's potential for an Eminem and Led Zeppelin collaboration... hey, fans can dream, right?!

And here's a snippet of Shady's new track "Symphony in H" off of Tony Touch's upcoming mixtape "The Piece Maker 3: Return of the 50 Mcs" (out July 9).
