George Lucas, creator of the Star Wars franchise married Ariel Investments president Mellody Hobson at Skywalker Ranch on Saturday.
The small ceremony was officiated by journalist Bill Moyers. Moyers has an interesting connection to Lucas. He interviewed Joseph Campbell for the documentary series "The Power Of Myth" at Skywalker Ranch. Campbell's 1949 book "The Man With A Thousand Faces" inspired Lucas during the making of Star Wars.

"It only takes one person to have met the love of your life," Moyers, who was a Baptist minister before launching his illustrious career in journalism, told the bride and groom. Moyers went on to quote the 13th-century Persian poet Rumi: "When I heard my first love story, I was thinking of you."
Steven Speilberg gave a toast at the wedding and Hobson was given away by NJ Senator Bill Bradley. Lucas' son Jett acted as his best man.
The reception featured performances by Van Morrison and Janelle Monae on the Skywalker Ranch soundstage.
