Barack Obama Sings Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' [VIDEO]: President Covers 'Random Access Memories' Hit in Viral Internet Clip

Although the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, is dealing with an incredible amount of controversial issues, he might be glad to know that there is a new viral video of him making the rounds this week. His mind is full of NSA worries and Snowden whistle blowing turmoil, so it's nice to see something humorous involving the Commander in Chief pop up onto our computers for once. "BarackDubs," a YouTube account full of Obama-themed musical covered comprised of cut up live appearances, has just released its latest video: Barack Obama singing Daft Punk's hit song "Get Lucky" off of 2013's Random Access Memories.

There have been plenty of "Get Lucky" covers going around ever since the single hit a few months ago. A simple search on YouTube for covers results in a plethora of choices to choose from. Acts ranging from jazz quartets up to indie-folk band Wilco have performed the song to some extent to the pleasure of fans, and it does not look like this fad has any signs of slowing down.

Though the President did not ACTUALLY cover this song, it is still very well edited and it is kind of funny to imagine Obama watching the video himself.
