"Hello, is it me you're looking for?"

The answer in a new beer ad is a resounding "Yes!" Today (June 25), a commercial for Tap King home beer dispenser made its way around the Internet. The clip features Lionel Richie singing his smash hit to a depressed looking fridge opener.

In the middle of crooning his biggest song and playing on a gorgeous white grand piano, Richie comforts the poor, sad man by pouring him a brew from the product and handing it to the man, who is visibly relieved.

The commercial is instantly relatable to anyone who has opened a refrigerator and not quite found what they were looking for. Unfortunately for most people, Lionel Richie isn't always there to pour a tall fresh glass of beer.

According to Billboard, the viral video will air as a commercial in Australia in the month of July.

Watch the hilarious one-minute long clip below:

This isn't the first time in recent memory that "Hello" has gotten a reworking from Richie. In March 2012, the hit was included on Richie's tenth studio album Tuskagee. The LP, which featured reworkings of Richie's biggest songs, included "Hello." He performed that song with singer Jennifer Nettles.

Additionally, "Hello" has proven to be quite popular for commercials. Taco Bell recently used a Spanish-language version of the song to introduce their Cool Ranch Doritos Loco Taco.

It has also been used in commercials for IKEA, Starburst, Yahoo! and Tesco. The lyrics about a longing search seem to hit a chord with marketers.
