On June 24, Angie Miller released a behind the scenes video from Red Decibel Studio where she explained some of the backstory behind her original hit single, 'You Set Me Free.'

"Hi Dreamers, I just wanted to bring you guys into Red Decibel Studio, this is the exact place, right here on this piano bench, that I recorded, 'You Set Me Free,'" she began the video. "'You Set Me Free,' really started my whole journey on American Idol... I feel like, when I did 'You Set Me Free' on the show, that really established myself on the show and it was incredible that it was an original song."

The behind the scenes preview included a video footage of the studio recording process as well as up-close footage of Miller speaking about the song. "I recorded this song, gosh, like two months before I did it on the show and I had only performed it in front of one crowd, I had no idea if it was even good or not," she explained.

She performed the song on the last night of Hollywood week on American Idol when she was given the choice of doing a song off of a list that they provided or doing an original song. "I just thought, well, what if I do my original song? And it was a huge risk because I had no idea if it was even good," Miller said. "But I did it on the show and the reaction was just incredible and it blew me away."

She thanked her fans for all of their support and encouragement. "I would have never been able to be here, at this studio, and recorded 'You Set Me Free,' if it wasn't for all of your support, and like genuinely, from my heart, thank you so much," she said. "So, I just wanted to come back here and record just a small, stripped down version of 'You Set Me Free' for you guys, just to thank you so much, Dreamers, for making my dreams come true."

Miller recorded the song on an upright piano in the studio and recorded her vocals without using any kind of microphone. Then she finished the video in an amusing way by playing a few silly chords on the accordion and quietly adding, "Thank you."
