The ongoing legal battle between the Jackson family and concert promoter AEG continues, and according to reports, one of the Jackson children is eager to testify.

Prince Jackson, the oldest son of pop star Michael Jackson, is due to appear on the witness stand on Wednesday. Prince was only 12 when his father passed away but he's ready to speak on it at the proceedings.

"Prince is ready and very confident," an unnamed source told E!. "AEG's lawyers are going to wish he wasn't on the stand. He is that ready."

Whether that confidence stems from some previously unreported information that could seal the deal against AEG is unknown. But whatever it is, Prince is ready. He's the second of Michael's children to testify, as video testimony was given by Prince's sister Paris last week.

Paris's testimony was shown in court via a videotaped deposition film several months ago. Paris is currently at the UCLA Medical Center recovering from a headline-grabbing suicide attempt. The video was scheduled to be shown anyway, regardless of her stay in the hospital.

Paris's testimony was used against the Jackson family's cause however. In the video, Jackson describes alleged bizarre behavior from the children's nanny, Grace Rwaramba, who the Jackson daughter claimed crawled into bed with her father and claimed to be the pop star's wife. The testimony was used by AEG to reflect the Jackson family's tendency to hire shady characters. The family's lawsuit charges AEG Live for the hiring of Conrad Murray leading up to Michael's "This Is It" concert series. Murray has since been convicted of manslaughter in the death of Jackson, but AEG claims that the family, not the company, hired the doctor.
