Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth News Update: Break Up Only Avoided Due To Parent's Divorce?

While the news of their relationship's demise may have been greatly exaggerated and a break up appears to have been avoided, you have to wonder if Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are simply sticking together to avoid being just like Miley's parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, who are currently in the midst of a divorce.

Inside sources have told the Chicago Sun-Times that the nasty split between Tish and Billy Ray has quite a bit to do with the young couple sticking together.

"[Miley] has been especially touched by her Aussie beau's incredible sensitivity to her and her family as Miley's parents, Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus, head to divorce court," a source told the paper.

"Liam has also made it clear he will not take sides. He wants to remain friends with both Tish and Billy Ray. This whole thing has brought him closer to Miley too."

Miley recently cleared up break up rumors on Good Morning America by showcasing her engagement ring. But coupled with the news that Hemsworth was desperate to dump Cyrus, it does make you wonder if Liam is simply sticking with the "We Can't Stop" singer through hard times.
