Sorry, Slim Shady fans, it doesn't look like Eminem's new 2013 album will drop on July 2 like initially suggested. Apparently, fresh beats from the "Without Me" rapper will hit airwaves sometime this upcoming fall (hopefully). But here's a fun-fact... "Hart of Dixie" beauty Rachel Bilson recently admitted in an interview with British Cosmopolitan magazine that she'd love to bust-out a duet with Eminem... the 31-year-old starlet always secretly wanted to pursue a career in rapping! Hmm... perhaps a surprise collaboration's already secretly in the works?

Months ago, Shady Records President Paul Rosenberg revealed, "We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He's been working on it for some time... It's safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we're not exactly sure when. We've got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we're trying to see what else lines up."

Detroit's Channel 955 radio station later "confirmed" on Facebook that the official release date for Eminem's upcoming EP was July 2. And several fans ran with that rumor:

@matthewadubin: "The summer would be complete if Eminem actually puts out a new album on July 2."

@MattisLoco: "yo my boy @Eminem's new album is out July 2. i'll be first in line #KeepItReal."

But considering July 2 has finally arrived, and still no word on Slim Shady's new music... it looks like fans will have to continue waiting (at least for now).

Eminem's former D12 bandmate and current hype-man Mr. Porter insists that Shady probably won't release the new album before he begins touring Europe in August. So basically, fans can expect the record to drop sometime this fall.

Rumors surrounding Eminem's own new album continue taking the web by storm... what's the official record name and tracklist? Who else will be featured on the album? Details surrounding such information still remains unknown, but if it were up to former "The OC" actress Rachel Bilson, she'd have a rap presence on one of Shady's new tracks... or at least a karaoke sesh!

In a recent interview for the cover issue of British Cosmo, the California-native reveals, "If I could karaoke duet with anyone it would be Eminem... I secretly want to be a rapper."

Shady never fails to surprise and impress his fans... maybe he'll take Bilson up on her offer?
