Lindsay Lohan avoided the front page for her 27th birthday and in doing so has made the front pages for her calm behavior. According to E!, the actress enjoyed a quiet birthday on Tuesday within the Cliffside Malibu rehabilitation facility.

The "Mean Girls" star only received one visitor, and that was her lawyer Shawn Holley. Last year, Lohan celebrated her birthday by going to a West Hollywood nightclub with her friends, in one of the few events that admittedly did not create a media brouhaha. E!'s omnipresent inside source revealed that Lohan is serious about getting her life together, even if that means a rather plain birthday. Of course, part of it also has to do with the regulations of the rehab facility and the terms of Lohan's sentence. The actress was ordered to a 90-day rehab stint following a car accident in June 2012.

"She is focusing on getting healthy," the source said. "She lives in a small room, has a chef that makes her sushi and a fresh garden is available. She is also getting along great with the other residents."

Doesn't sound too bad, at least for a rehab facility.

Lohan is expected to remain at Cliffside until August, when she plans on appearing at the debut of the film "The Canyons," in which she stars.

Lohan did celebrate her birthday emphatically over social media however. In a number of tweets that she quickly deleted after sending, the star wished others a happy birthday while reminding them that it was in fact her birthday as well.

"And me!" she tweeted at The Huffington Post after it wished Seinfeld creator Larry David a happy birthday.

"Happy bday - have the best day ever!" was her response to a fan that shared her date of birth.
