Jason Dunn made the rough decision to leave his band Hawk Nelson a little while back. When he made that move, everyone was wondering why. Fans of Hawk Nelson were curious and saddened by the move. Jason Dunn seemed to feel their pain, and came up with a short documentary video that answers the questions that inquire why everything happened the way it happened.

You can view that video right here on MSTARS:

In the video, you learn why Jason Dunn became a musician. From his early start in music, to where he is now, he takes you on a timeline and explains why every move he made was made. He explains how hard it was to make some of the moves they made as a band, and he talks about the reason he left the band to start a new career from scratch. Essentially, what it seems to boil down to according to the video is that his heart wasn't in the band anymore, and he needed a clean slate so he could rebuild his career somewhere else.

Jason Dunn is now working on new projects. He manages a blog which you can view right here if you just follow this link.

For all you Hawk Nelson fans out there, Jason Dunn says he isn't mad, sad, or anything negative toward Hawk Nelson. In fact, he says leaving the band was his choice and he doesn't regret doing it even for a minute. He wishes Hawk Nelson the very best in the rest of their career, and he thanks his fans for sticking with him through this tremendous change.

Dunn has a new album he is working on right now called Abandon Progress, which can be pre-ordered right now at this website
