Robin Thicke 'Blurred Lines' Album Preview: Snippets of Each Song on New Album 2013 Review [LISTEN]

Twenty-seven days before its expected July 30 release date, fans can now hear a sample of every track off Robin Thicke's highly anticipated sixth studio album. The follow-up to 2011's Love After War includes summertime hits "Blurred Lines" and "Give It 2 U."

With 30-second snippets of every song (except for the already released singles "Blurred Lines" and "For the Rest of My Life), MStars has written up snippets of reviews.

Check out the first impression of each song from Blurred Lines below.

1. "Blurred Lines," feat. Pharrell and T.I. - Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard this song. Equal parts sleazy and funky, this No. 1 hit needs no further description.

2. "Take It Easy On Me" - An electronic joint, full of computerized glitches and blips. At a quicker pace than most Thicke songs, "Take It Easy On Me" definitely indicates a new, more mainstream direction for the R&B singer.

3. "Ooo La La" - Straight from a 1970s disco, this song features Thicke's signature falsetto in an environment fans aren't quite familiar with. Instead of softly signing to a woman like in his 2006 hit "Lost Without U," this song takes him to the discotheque.

4. "Ain't No Hat 4 That" - Like "Ooo La La," this song definitely gives off a '70s vibe. If anyone ever doubted Michael Jackson's influence on Robin Thicke, hear it loud and clear in this track.

5. "Get In My Way" - Equal parts '70s and '90s, this song feels like the best unreleased dance songs from '90s R&B boy bands, a la BLACKstreet or Boyz II Men.

6. "Give It 2 U" feat. Kendrick Lamar - Released earlier this week, this is where Thicke gets his Midnite Vultures-era Beck on.

7. "Feel Good" - The most ballad-y song on the album so far, backed by a piano Thicke asks a mystery woman, "If I told you that I love you, would you run away?" With vocals like this, it's hard to believe the answer would be no.

8. "For the Rest of My Life" - One of the other songs that fans have heard thus far and the second official single from Blurred Lines, "Rest of My Life" is a smooth slow-burner that's all about love and seduction. Thicke sings with a yearning and earnest power that is rarely seen today.

9. "Top of the World" - After a quick trip to ballad land, Thicke bounces back slightly and lands in the mid-tempo range. Though the provided snippet is a bit repetitive lyric-wise, the song is totally fine for a near-the-end-of-the-album song.

10. "The Good Life" - An old school R&B joint, feels inspired by the '50s with its shuffling backbeat and hard-hitting, yet soft, vocals.

Notably missing from the 10 previewed tracks is "Go Stupid 4 U." It's not clear whether the song has been cut from the album or was simply not included in the sampler.
