Rock the Flags To Feature Third Day, Switchfoot, Matt Maher And The Wrecking At Brand New Christian Music Festival At Six Flags New England

This year's Rock the Flags festival at Six Flags New England will feature Third Day, Switchfoot, Matt Maher and The Wrecking, on July 6 in Agawam, Massachusetts. In addition, the festival will also feature speaker, Tom Richter, and emcee, KJ-52.

This is a brand new Christian festival and requires that concert goers purchase a Rock the Flags ticket for admittance. This ticket includes a fun-filled day of rides and concerts. The festival begins at 3 p.m. and will run until about 9:45 p.m. However, the park itself will be accessible from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Hurricane Harbor, the waterpark, will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Adult tickets cost $49.99 in advance and $54.99 at the door. Group with ten or more people cost $37.99 per person and include a free ticket for groups that make their purchases in advance. Groups of 20 or more cost $32.99 per person and include free advanced tickets as well. VIP passes and season passes to the park are also available for those who are interested.

"Six Flags New England is the entertainment capital of New England and the park has taken that reputation to the next level with the introduction of Goliath in 2012," according to the Rock the Flags website. In addition to Goliath, park-goers have access to rides such as Cyclone, Flashback, Pandemonium, Mind Eraser, Batman the Dark Knight and even Bizarro, one of the top steel roller coasters in the world.

The park also offers three different children's areas, Looney Tunes Movie Town, Kidzopolis and Splash Island. In addition, the park also houses the largest water park in New England, Hurricane Harbor. The water park contains to candy beaches, two wave pools, a lazy river, and a number of water slides. The 2013 season also includes a new addition to the water park, Bonzai Pipelines, a 65-foot tall waterslide that features six high-speed, drop hatch, looping body slides. Admission to the water park is free with your ticket.
