Eva Longoria Dating Ernesto Argüello: 'Desperate Housewives' Actress Confirms She Is Seeing New 'Ready for Love' Boyfriend

It's been a long time coming but Eva Longoria has finally made it official that she is dating "Ready For Love" star Ernesto Argüello.

Argüello came to the public's attention when he was a contestant on the reality romance competition, but he had previously established himself as a successful Miami entrepreneur. Longoria was the producer of the show, but there's no word on whether the two began bonding then or later. Argüello chose former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey while on the show, but that romance didn't pan out. 

The paparazzi have been claiming rumors of a relationship for months, but Longoria has strongly denied it. The pair had been spotted driving around Los Angeles together, and stayed by each other's sides at the premier for "Ready For Love." 

Longoria tweeted at the time: "Sorry @ernestoarguello is NOT dating me, but u can see who he is dating on #ReadyForLove tomorrow night on NBC after #TheVoice!"

But now the actress seems to have come to grips with the reality, and in what's probably a first, thanked the media for fueling the dating rumors. 

"I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn't see," she said. 

Longoria had previously been in a relationship with San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker prior to their divorce amidst rumors of infidelity on his part. That pair seem to be amiable enough, with Longoria tweeting her support for her ex's team throughout the NBA playoffs. Parker may have moved quicker than Longoria however; He may have accidentally announced his engagement to French journalist Axelle Francine.
