If you'd like to be featured as a guest on "The Wendy Williams Show," then you had better be on the shorter side of the height spectrum. A conversation with an insider at the show revealed to the New York Daily News that the talk show host, listed at six feet tall, is uncomfortable with guests taller than her.

"One woman who was on once was never invited back, because the woman was actually taller than Wendy," the source said. "The woman is smart and well-spoken, but Wendy's producers said no one taller than Wendy is allowed to come on because she doesn't like it. Apparently you can be pretty, but not pretty and tall. Wendy needs to be the tallest lady on set at all times. Plus, if you are funny - forget it. She also prefers men, because she gels with them better."

No word on whether this rule applies to men as well, although the insider did indicate that Williams simply got along better with men. The source says that the show's staff is primarily made up of men, and her husband Kevin Hunter has been known to hang around the set.

Williams also doesn't take well to experts appearing on shows other than her own. Although the talking heads that come on to discuss gossip and issues with Williams aren't paid for their appearances, the host considers them exclusive sources.

"I had been a regular guest on Wendy for over a year," another pretty [but short] source tells us. "But when I started doing other shows they stopped inviting me back. It is not like Wendy pays me or has some sort of exclusive contract with me. And she isn't 'GMA' or 'Today.' Now she is left with all the not-tall experts that the big shows don't want."
