Aaron Hernandez Murder Trial: Snoop Lion Supports Accused NFL Player On Instagram

Well, this is interesting. As NFL tight end Aaron Hernandez stands accused of murder, he is getting some support from an unlikely place. Snoop Lion told the former Patriot that he's looking out for him in an Instagram post. 

The artist formerly known as Dogg posted the above photo with the caption "Keep ya head up !! We prayn 4 ya." The photo wd as posted by Snoop previously. It originally said "Aaron Hernandez. Te. Snoop lion. Wr. Club action.!!"

Aaron Hernandez is accused of murdering Odin Lloyd, a semi-pro football player whose body was found near Hernandez's home.

Snoop Dogg has also stood trial for murder in his lifetime. The rapper was aquitted of murder charges in the mid-90s that stemmed from a 1993 shooting. Snoop famously gave this performance at the 1994 VMAs and declared at the end to the crowd, "I'm innocent, I'm innocent."
