John Green's best selling young adult novel The Fault In Our Stars is getting the movie treatment. Filming for the screen adaptation will begin in two weeks, and in a radio interview yesterday (July 8), the film's director revealed that indie rock band Bright Eyes will score the movie.

According to Josh Boone's KCET interview and Twitter, Mike Mogis and Nate Walcott from the Saddle Creek band will score The Fault In Our Stars.

The duo also scored Boone's latest film Stuck In Love. The indie comedy starring Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly received a limited U.S. release on July 5.

It is unknown whether or not Bright Eyes frontman Conor Oberst will contribute a song to The Fault In Our Stars. However, Boone was hopeful that Oberst would add a song to The Fault In Our Stars. "We'd be thrilled if Conor contributed a new song," he tweeted to a fan who asked about TFIOS' soundtrack.

The "Souled Out!" rocker, did contribute a song to the Mogus and Walcott scored Stuck in Love. "You Are Your Mother's Child" is a soft, acoustic sing-songy ballad from Oberst. Listen to the song from Stuck In Love below:

The Fault In Our Stars tells the story of a young teenage girl who has a terminal cancer diagnosis. In a support group, she meets Augustus Waters and the two form a bond. Little is known about the casting for the film, however, Shailene Woodley from The Secret Life of the American Teenager is set to star in the fim as Hazel Lancaster.
