It's been almost 20 years since grunge rock band Mudhoney made an appearance on national TV. Last night to promote their new album Vanishing Point as well as label Sub Pop's Silver Jubilee, the Seattle rockers took to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to perform "I Like It Small."

The high-energy, gritty performance shows that even though Mudhoney have been around since the late 1980s, they're just as dirty and rocking as ever.

In a web exclusive, Mudhoney tore through another track from their ninth studio album "The Only Son of the Widow from Nain." The other Vanishing Point performance was even more raw than "I Like It Small." Lead singer Mark Arm banged his head and jumped around the stage while the rest of the band thrashed their guitars and riffed on the drums.

After 25 years as a band, Mudhoney sure aren't showing their age. Check out "The Only Son of the Widow from Nain" here:

Consequence of Sound dug up Mudhoney's last Late Night performance. Though the band sported longer hair and baggier shirts in 1995, their energy has remained consistent through the 18 years since they last appeared on TV. Watch the Late Night With Conan O'Brien performance from '95 below:

Mudhoney recently made headlines when they announced they would be performing on top of Seattle's Space Needle on July 11. The group will also be taking part in Sub Pop's 25th anniversary on July 13. The all-ages, free festival will also include live sets from Built to Spill, Father John Misty, Kristen Schaal and more.
