With the opening of their Jonas Brothers Live Tour in Chicago last night (July 10), new album news was bound to come from the Jonas Brothers this morning. The "Pom Poms" band has announed the name of their upcoming fifth studio album. The group also debuted four new songs at their concert last night, all presumably from the fall album.

The new album 2013 will be called V, according to the band's Twitter. "V Five!!!!!!!," they tweeted. Indeed, V is the Roman numeral for five and a fitting title for a fifth effort. The Jonas Brothers aren't the only former-Disney stars to have an album named V, Vanessa Hudgens' 2006 Hollywood Records debut has the same name.

In other Jonas news, at the Chicago tour opener last night, the JoBros debuted four new songs: "Found," "The World," "What Do I Mean To You" and "Don't Say."

"Found" is a creeping, mellow rock song with a grooving backbeat. The swinging, sing-songy beat incorporates the Jonas' pop roots, but the slowed down tempo, guitar solo and vocal melody shows the maturity the band has been teasing in recent interviews.

"The World," which the Jonas Brothers have admitted is their favorite song off V, is a more up-tempo love song, "Don't think about the world, / It's just me and you tonight," the boys sing with rich harmonies. The song has a bit of an R&B flavor, showing the more modern influences the JoBros have also discussed regarding their new album.

"What Do I Mean To You," a song title that seemingly sounds mushy, is a hard-rocking, vaguely threatening number. Nick Jonas' vocals take the high road while he pleads "What do I mean to you?" However, when Joe takes his turn on the chorus, he screams the lyrics, almost battling vocally with his brother and old lovers. It's certainly the most epic and powerful of the four new songs and has definitely taken the JoBros out of their younger, boy band days.

The final song, "Don't Say," was the sole ballad debuted last night. The soft, slow song has power in its reservation and though the video that has surfaces was short, Nick seems to take the lead vocally on this one.

These weren't the only songs off V the JoBros played last night. According to Alter The Press, "First Time" and "Pom Poms" were also performed. Check out the full setlist here.

With these performances and other interviews, seven songs off V have been heard by fans. The only track the Jonas Brothers have discussed that has yet to be heard is "Sandbox."
