Kanye West, Wale, J. Cole and Mac Miller may view each other as rivals, given the closeness of their respective albums' release dates, but they've worked together to do something momentous: set a record that's never been matched in the history of rap. Yeezus, The Gifted, Born Sinner and Watching Movies With The Sound Off have dominated the top of the charts and marked the first time ever that rap albums have gone 1-2-3 on the Billboard 200 for 3 consecutive weeks.

Via Billboard:

J. Cole's "Born Sinner" is No. 1 this week, followed by Wale's "The Gifted" and Kanye West's "Yeezus" at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. A week ago, the order was: Wale, Cole and West. And, the week before that: West, Cole and Mac Miller (with his "Watching Movies With the Sound Off").

The trend shows no sign of stopping with Jay-Z's physical release of Magna Carta...Holy Grail expected to move close to 500,000 units. (Billboard isn't counting the Samsung albums, remember). The album will lock HOV in as the top dog when it comes to solo no 1 albums. He'll have 13.
