Justin Timberlake's fans are happy about his new single "Take Back The Night," but there's one group who are less than pleased with the pop star: anti-sexual assault group Take Back The Night. Timberlake could face legal action from the protest organization.

According to their website, Take Back The Night "serves to create safe communities and respectful relationships through awareness events and initiatives. We seek to end sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual abuse and all other forms of sexual violence."

The executive director of Take Back The Night, Katherine Koestner told Radar Online that Timberlake used the organization's name without asking. "Everyone at Take Back The Night is really shocked, because normally, we get asked when people want to use the name. Normally entities as large as Justin Timberlake do very kind and thoughtful things to support our cause," she said.

"It's a big song and he didn't take the necessary steps to make sure that it was appropriate. Normally, they do have due diligence."

Take Back The Night tried to contact Timberlake via his website before the song's release but that attempt failed. According to Koestner, they sent him a letter through their legal counsel about Timberlake using the name without permission.

"They got back to us and said they're sorry. His agent said, 'Justin's a good guy! He's a family man!' They claimed he'd never head of us before he wrote the song," said Koestner. "I don't know what country he's been in. I suppose it could have slipped off his radar screen somehow. Somebody working for him definitely messed up."

The song title has already proved troublesome for the anti-sexual violence group. "For example, all of a sudden on Wikipedia, Take Back The Night has a different definition," said Koestner.

The song's lyrics don't help the cause either. The highly sexual song includes lines like "Your love's a weapon, / Give your body some direction, / That's my aim," and "The way you move, you go crazy, that's incentive for me."
