Full House is the family-friendly TV hit that just can't go away. The cheesy '90s hit enchanted audiences when it debuted 26 years ago and maintains a strong presence in syndication today. The show has come back in the spotlight today (July 16) when John Stamos confirmed that the made-for-TV band Jesse & The Rippers will be playing Late Night With Jimmy Fallon this Friday (July 19).

People confirmed the performance.

Actor John Stamos, who portrayed Uncle Jesse Katsopolis on the ABC show has been teasing the Late Night performance via his Instagram. The star posted a video of him and his TV band mates singing the show's theme song last night. The jazzy, piano-backed take on the theme song gives an interesting new life to the wholesome track.

Stamos' Instagram isn't the only social media platform that teased the Jesse & The Rippers TV reunion. A new Twitter has popped up, where "Jesse Kastopolis" has been tweeting that the band is back came to life on June 19.

Though the account, @jesseandtheripp, has mostly been flying under the radar with just over 4,000 followers as of press time, it's chock full of nostalgia. The account has been tweeting behind-the-scenes footage of Full House and Jesse & The Rippers episodes, including the video for their first "single," "Forever."

It's unsure if there will be any more Full House reunion steps after the Jimmy Fallon performance. However, Fallon has been a longtime proponent of '90s nostalgia. In 2011, Fallon attempted to reunite the cast of Saved By The Bell.
