Eminem New Album 2013, Release Date Still Far Off? Big Sean Says Slim Shady 'Working Hard' on New Music, Detroit Rap Collaboration Very Likely on Unnamed Record [VIDEO]

Just over the weekend, hip-hop producer and former D12 rapper Mr. Porter tweeted that Eminem fans need to CALM DOWN - you can't rush art! He's most likely referring to Slim Shady's highly-anticipated 2013 album... details surrounding Em's eighth studio record still remain a total mystery, although fans expect new music to drop sometime soon. But in a recent interview with UK's MTV News, "Hall of Fame" rapper (and Eminem's good pal) Big Sean claims that Shady's still working really hard on the upcoming album... does that mean its official release date is still far off? Eminem New Song 'Symphony in H' Available on iTunes [FULL], Slim Shady Prepares for August Tour, Release Date in September? [LISTEN]

Back in April, rapper Big Sean chilled with Eminem in his Detroit studio, sparking collaboration rumors. The "Finally Famous" star admits that the rap duo DID work on some new music... and fans can likely expect a "huge" Detroit classic by the end of the year. Sean's sophomore album "Hall of Fame" hits stores on August 27... so if anything, the collaboration with likely appear on Slim Shady's record:

"We were trying to make the collab work for my album but due to timing issues it's probably not going to work out. You'll get a collab though, just probably won't be for 'Hall of Fame,'" Big Sean revealed to UK's MTV News.

As for any more details about Em's much-hyped about new record... "I'll just say no," Sean muses. "I know he's working on it though, working hard too."

Good to know... but everything still remains so hazy!
