Kate Moss has developed quite the reputation for herself in her 20 years of modeling, but she spoke with Allure magazine to set the record straight on a few of the more exciting gossip, such as her rumored heroin use and battles with anorexia

"Oh it's ridiculous," said Moss when asked about the heroin story. "I know I don't do heroin. Just because I wear a bit of black eyeliner that's smudged."

Part of the problem might be that Moss became famous during a fashion era that was nicknamed "heroin chic." That's not to say she hasn't had her share of drug issues however. Most notoriously, photos emerged in 2005 that appeared to feature the model doing cocaine in the company of then-boyfriend Pete Doherty. Although Moss has never confessed nor was she convicted due to lack of evidence, she did attend rehab in 2005.

More bothersome to Moss than allegations of drug use were the accusations of anorexia. Moss is renowned for her size-zero waist, and has been accused by many of setting an unhealthy standard for girls. Moss says the accusations that she was harming others was unpleasant.

"It was horrible, especially the anorexic thing," Moss said. "The anorexic thing was a lot more upsetting, to be held responsible for somebody's illness. I wasn't anorexic."

Still, the model didn't make things any better in 2008 when she told Women's Wear Daily that "nothing tasted as good as skinny feels."

Moss was engaged for a short time to Johnny Depp during the '90s, but is now married to The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince.
