It appears even the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences feels the need to "Bow Down." Beyonce is up for three Emmy awards for her Super Bowl Halftime show.

Admittedly two of the nominations aren't directly Beyonce's, per se. But they wouldn't have been possible without King Bey's earth-shattering, Destiny's Child-reuniting, Superdome-shorting performance.

Beyonce's Three Noms:

Outstanding Special Class - Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program

Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For A Variety Special

Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special.

This isn't surprising to me, as Beyonce's shows on the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour are simply the intensity of the Super Bowl halftime show, extended to two and a half hours.

However, a few Beyhive members may notice that B's HBO doc Life Is But A Dream got snubbed by the powers-that-be.

What do you think of Beyonce's three Emmy noms?
