Taylor Swift 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' Cover, Jimmy Eat World [VIDEOS]: Web Exclusive Performance of 'Red' Hit on 'Conan',

Last night on TBS's "Conan," the pop-rock band Jimmy Eat World decided to treat the audience to a special cover of one of the biggest pop stars today. Though it isn't exactly a recent hit, Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" is a stand out track from her most recent album Red. So when Jimmy Eat World performed it last night, it reminded us of the Swift hit as well as why we all love Jimmy Eat World so much.

The best part about this cover is that Jimmy Eat World pretty much made it sound like an original tune. Singer Jim Adkins has a pretty iconic voice for those who grew up listening to his angst-ridden songs from Clarity, Bleed American and Futures, so mixing that with Swift's lyrics made it pretty great.

What you might have written off or maybe not even been aware of, is that Jimmy Eat World has been releasing albums ever since the initial rise to fame, and have a new album, Damage, that the band has been promoting since its June release.
