Super producer Timbaland has always been pretty confident, and as he continues to produce top charting No.1 albums and singles his stamp of approval is one not to be reckoned with.  However, in a recent interview with Revolt TV Timbaland made controversial comments regarding Drake and Chris Brown's songs with his late protégé Aaliyah.  Timbaland said collaborations with Aaliyah "don't work" unless they are with him, he also talks "adopting" Drake, and Nas's new song featuring Jay-Z and Justin Timbalake.

"In music, people always say, "I'ma do a song with Aaliyah," Timbaland told Revolt TV. "It will never work. A lot of these rappers out here are awful. Chris Brown got a record; it won't work. Drake could do a record with Aaliyah; it ain't going to work." Timabland said. "Aaliyah music only work with its soul-mate, which is me."

In his Revolt TV interview Timbaland alluded to a hip-hop hierarchy, in which the best of the best must support one another.  He praised Drake mentioning that he and Jay-Z adopted him and DJ Khaled into their circle.

"I talked to big brother Jay, and I was like we gotta embrace this young solider (Drake)...We gotta put our hand around him, and really like, try to ad to the bloodline.  We adopted Khaled, that's my dude, we adopted him and we adopted Drake."

Timbaland has a gift to detect a great artist and a potential classic album, he also shared what The God's Son, Nas was working on for his new album.

"I told Jay this, I said, "the person who gets me from hip-hop now, their album's gonna be phenomenal" - and that's Nas. Nas got a song right now with him, Jay and Justin and it's completely stupid. It's called "Sinatra in the Sands," and Justin sounds like Frank Sinatra. This is it."
