After celebrating her 21st birthday with her friends, “Come & Get It” singer Selena Gomez took to Jay Leno’s Tonight Show couch to discuss her new album, film Getaway and hunting for houses.

Gomez began her interview by talking about turning 21, which the former Disney starlet did on Monday. She celebrated her monumental day with a shot of Jack and a Taco "cake" with friends. The singer admitted she was a little hungover in the morning, but it was nothing too terribly bad.

Gomez is not just hunting for a house with her "terrible" poker face but also looking forward to her Stars Dance World Tour, the first trek she'll be embarking on without her mother.

Of course, no Selena Gomez talk show appearance would be complete without a performance. She took the stage to sing the second single from Stars Dance, "Slow Down," which had a video leak late last week.

Perhaps the birthday party got to Gomez's vocal cards, because the vocals fell flat on the party anthem. Gomez struggled to reach the high notes in the chorus and overall sounded far raspier than usual.

Hopefully, the singer will shape her voice up before beginning her new tour.

Luckily, Gomez looked better than ever during the performance. With high-waisted black leather short shorts and a black crop top, the 21-year-old proved she's no longer the babyfaced Disney star.

Stars Dance was released on Tuesday, July 23.
