It's almost August - that means Eminem will soon jet-off to Europe to perform a handful of shows overseas. Meanwhile, details surrounding Slim Shady's new album still remain unconfirmed... although at this point, fans are simply hoping for a fall 2013 release date. Will a worldwide tour soon follow? Who knows! But according to rapper Jay-Z, performing alongside Eminem at Yankee Stadium back during 2010's "Home & Home" tour was a "dream come true." So much talent up onstage with no egos ruining the vibe... must have been a pretty exciting time. Wonder if Shady will join Hov and Justin Timberlake for any surprise "Legends of the Summer" tour guest appearances (ha).

Here's the dates/venues for Em's upcoming "mini" tour of Europe:

August 15, 2013: Kempische Steenweg, Kiewit (Pukkelpop 2013)
August 17, 2013: Slane, Ireland
August 20, 2013: Dumbreck Road, Glasgow Eminem
August 21, 2013: Bramham Park, Leeds (Leeds Festival 2013)
August 22, 2013: Stade De France, La Plaine St Denis
August 23, 2013: Bramham Park, Wetherby (Leeds Festival 2013)
August 24, 2013: Reading, Reading (Reading Festival 2013)
August 25, 2013: Bramham Park, Leeds (Leeds Festival 2013)

Now, if only Shady would announce an official album release date so fans can anticipate a tour state-side...

Anyway, here's what Jay-Z has to say about touring with such big-name artists (while talking with The Truth's Elliott Wilson):

Referencing the "Legends of Summer" tour:

"First of all, I don't have an ego in those situations," Jay-Z revealed. "Everybody should just come to the table and have fun and bring what they bring to the table...If I'm not a Jay-Z fan per se, I get to experience [him] in a setting that I like. I get Justin and 'Oh okay.' It's expansive. It really helps the genre out a lot. When you put it in that place and put it in that light. I'm a serial collaborator...Putting those sort of elements in one room and just-I'm just curious as well. I've always been under the belief that it's just music. We just use different instruments. It's music...It's natural for me to play music with Justin. First of all, we both use the same producers. So, pretty much our songs are Timbaland and Pharrell. The majority of them, so they kinda mesh really well because it's the same sound."

Referencing the "Home & Home" tour (Jay-Z's four-show tour with Eminem took place in September 2010 and included surprise appearances from Nicki Minaj, B.o.B, 50 Cent, and Drake):

"Beyond a dream come true because growing up-at best you may think that you can make it to the [Madison Square] Garden as a musician. And then having Kool Herc and being in the Bronx, the home place of Hip Hop, and all those, how symbolic it was."

A surprise Jay-Z collaboration on Em's eighth studio record would be AWESOME! Do fans agree?
