AEG Live may be playing its best card when it brings Debbie Rowe, the birth mother of Michael Jackson's children, to the stand to testify on behalf of the defense during Jackson family's ongoing $40 billion lawsuit against the concert promoter. A source for TMZ says Rowe will spill all sorts of juicy details about Michael's drug addiction, but as usual, the source is unnamed and all this should be taken with a grain of salt.

Rowe would have an insider's knowledge of Michael's drug habits, as he met her while she was working for one of his longtime doctors. Although Conrad Murray was convicted of manslaughter for the pop star's death, few knew many details of his treatments because it always happened behind closed doors, away from his family.

According to the source's claims, the vocalist received combination treatments of Demerol and Vistaril, a painkiller and an amplifier, when he visited Arnie Klein's office. Michael continued to visit Rowe's former employer up until a few days before his death. Rowe reportedly called Klein and demanded "What the f--- did you give him? He's dead and it's your fault."

If Rowe attests that Michael had a secret drug habit for decades, it would do plenty to sink the Jackson family's case that AEG was promoting his unhealthy habits. Even if the company did hire Murray (which it claims it didn't), they could prove that they had no idea how bad Michael's drug issues were, as even Katherine Jackson has claimed at the witness stand that she didn't think Michael had a problem.

Of course, if Rowe ends up costing the Jacksons their lawsuit, it could irreparably harm the relationship between her and the family, meaning that she may have trouble trying to stay in contact with children Prince, Paris and Blanket.
