Oh snap. The Avett Brothers just debuted some new music at the Newport Folk Festival. The band frequently thought of as "Mumford & Sons for people with taste" debuted "Morning Song" backstage in front of an American flag. (I like to think of that as an additional "FUUUU" to Mumford fans.)
While this is certainly not the most notable thing to ever happen at Newport, hearing some new jams from one of the greatest folk acts currently out is always awesome.
