Selena Gomez 'Come & Get It' Album 'Stars Dance' Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 100: Jay Z 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' Booted From Top Spot in Country [VIDEO]

Selena Gomez has had a big week. The pop star turned 21, threw a massive birthday party attended by ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and, of course, released her debut solo album Stars Dance on July 23. Now, to finish off an epic July for the "Come & Get It" singer, Stars Dance has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The top spot debut for the pop record marks Gomez's first No. 1 album and her highest selling week to date. Stars Dance moved 97,000 copies. Before this week, Gomez's best week was for her album with The Scene, 2011's When The Sun Goes Down, which sold 78,000 copies, according to Billboard.

Surely, the massive success of Stars Dance was due in part to the monster single "Come & Get It," which peaked at No. 6 on the Hot 100.

Stars Dance knocked Jay Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail from the top spot. Hova's 13th top-selling album held at No. 1 for two weeks. This week, MCHG fell to No. 2, moving 77,000 copies, a still strong selling point for a three-week old album.

The next two spots on the Billboard 100 were as kid-friendly as Gomez's former show The Wizards of Waverly Place. Disney's Teen Beach Movie soundtrack rose to No. 3, selling 57,000 copies and Kidz Bop 24 -- which features the hilarious "Thrift Shop" cover -- fell one spot to No. 4.

Meanwhile, the top five albums in the country were rounded out by Marc Anthony's Spanish album 3.0. Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband sold 39,000 copies.
