Lady Gaga is back on Twitter, and she's revealing quite a bit about her previously super-secretive ARTPOP album/app/ mixed media art project. We've already learned that the lead single "Applause" will drop August 19, but now Mother Monster is saying that a music video for "Applause" will be released that same day. She also noted that the album will be available as a physical LP and details about the experimental companion app.

She also tweeted some lyrics from the as-yet unheard single.

Gaga went on to give details about the app, which had previously only been discussed by Haus of Gaga team members.
The ARTPOP app is Free, available in App Stores on your device. You can purchase the music through the ARTPOP app once it's downloaded.

Other than release details of the app, she also explained that the app will be an "interactive jewel case" (for youngsters, jewel cases are the packaging that CDs come in and often contain liner notes, artwork and details about the production of an album).

A placeholder for the app will be released the same day as "Applause" and the app will become fully functional on November 11, the day of ARTPOP's full release.
