Miley Cyrus Talks Britney Spears Friendship In Interview, Liam Hemsworth's Fiance Looks Up To Pop Star As Role Model

Miley Cyrus is letting the world in on her relationship with fellow pop singer Britney Spears. With the constant storm surrounding everything that Miley does, from her music to her rocky relationship with fiance Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus claims that Spears offers a sympathetic ear (having survived constant media scrutiny herself).

"Everyone goes through a time in their life where they don't want their picture taken everyday," Cyrus.told HuffPo UK. "She just never had that time where she could say, 'I'm going through something right now and need to shut down.'"

 "I also don't have that, so it's good to have that one person in my life who gets it" the 'We Can't Stop' singer added.

While Cyrus' music career hasn't fallen off enough for a comeback a la Spears ("We Can't Stop" just broke a VEVO record for quickest vid to reach 100 million views), she is subject to the same daily reportage of her life that Spears went through around the births of her children. Though Miley has admitted she tries not to look herself up, the constant attention has worn on the 20-year-old who (like Spears) entered the public eye at a young age, via Disney's Hannah Montana.
