Season 4 of AMC's "The Walking Dead" premieres this October but details and spoilers about the critically acclaimed drama continue to trickle in throughout the summer.
In the latest "Mega Buzz" column at TVGuide, a reader questioned how Chad Coleman's Tyreese would blend into Rick Grimes' zombie-fighting group in the upcoming episodes:
"How will Tyreese fit into the group on The Walking Dead this year? -Eric
Even though Tyreese has put himself on the line to help Rick & Co. before, we'll see that he's more of a gentle giant this year as he struggles with staying alive in the apocalypse. 'You'll have an opportunity to witness this man wrestle with the rules of engagement around him and where he fits in that world and his own inner [demons],' Chad Coleman says. 'To me, it feels like a firm belief in non-violent conflict resolution, but how does that fit in a claustrophobic world? I believe you'll see him tested and no one goes unscathed.'"
As Mstars previously reported, David Morrissey's Governor will also play an increased role in the fourth season after he went on a massive killing spree in Season 3.
Here's what TVLine's Michael Ausiello uncovered about the character's Season 4 arc:
"Question: The new Walking Dead trailer looks crazy good, but it was decidedly Governor-lite. How big a presence will David Morrissey have in Season 4? -Cris
Well, I can tell you that he'll have a major presence in at least two Season 4 episodes, both of which are being unofficially billed as 'standalone Governor' installments. No specific intel on when those episodes will air, but I hear they'll likely fall in the first chunk of eight."
