Justin Bieber is no stranger to having things thrown at him by audience members during his "Believe" tour, but one item thrown earlier this week prompted the "Heartbreaker" singer to get up close and personal with the fan's belonging. During an address to his Newark, New Jersey, concertgoers on Tuesday night, the 19-year-old pop star was hit with an iPhone. He then dropped the Smartphone down his pants and threw it back into the screaming crowd shortly after it came in contact with his privates.

Though this story is already hilarious, the phone was thrown at Bieber right after he was asking his fans to refrain from throwing any other items on stage. He was literally reciting Webster's definition of the word "refrain" when the phone was thrown at him.

Justin pointed out that the situation was pretty funny, but then decided to make it even more bizarre: he proceeded to shove the expensive phone down his "pants" (what ARE those?). After a few seconds of phone-on-Bieber-unmentionables, and the crowd going nuts, Justin removed the iPhone from his person and tossed it back into the audience. Clearly this device did not make it back to its rightful owner, but obviously this person did not care too much about his or her iPhone.

Unfortunately, this action will definitely not stop concertgoers from throwing things at Justin. He knows that. If anything, he will probably get hit with many more phones from now on. Shows will just be a bunch of young fans hoping the Biebs gets a little too close to their iPhones and that is the world we live in today.

Check out this footage of Beiber asking fans to refrain from throwing things on stage. The iPhone hits the stage around the 1:15 mark in this video:
