Jodie Foster Helps Jamie Lee Curtis After 'Scream Queen' Gets Into Car Accident, Injured Actress is 'Fine'

The Fish Called Wanda Star and Activia Spokesperson, Jamie Lee Curtis is resting at home after being hospitalized following a car crash on Thursday morning. The Los Angeles Police department confirmed that the collision between Curtis' black SUV limousine and a BMW in Venice Beach, California happened at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Rose Avenue.

According to a witness, following the incident, Curtis called her long-time friend Jodie Foster, who showed up within minutes to help on the scene. Curtis was quickly rushed to the hospital after complaining about 'pain' at the scene of the collision.

"Jamie was indeed a passenger in a car involved in a collision this a.m.," the actress's rep explained to E! Thursday, "She went to the hospital to be checked out, but she is fine and is home resting."

Another person involved in the accident was also taken to the hospital, whose injuries are more serious according to TMZ.com. Photos after the collision show several police officers and firemen at the scene, attending to Curtis,  inspecting the vehicles and speaking with others who were involved in the crash. Several pieces of debris laid across the intersection around the two vehicles involved in the crash.

Oscar winner Foster, who arrived at the incident steadfast as if out of a movie, has a long history with Curtis. Both women's successful career began in the 1970s.  The two famous friends have yet to appear in a film together, but have both starred in a version of "Freaky Friday.
