Jessie J is back with a new single, "It's My Party." The pop, good-timey song is reportedly the second single from the "Domino" singer's upcoming, untitled second studio album, due out sometime in the fourth quarter this year.

Premiering on YouTube today, via her website (as told with the audio tag throughout the single, intended to prevent illegal downloads), "It's My Party" is typical Jessie J fare. Featuring electronic instrumentation full of power-chorded guitars and small computerized blips like her signature breakthrough hit, "Domino," "It's My Party" mostly contains a fun, light-hearted atmosphere, for well, Jessie J's party.

However, like the instrumentation, a lot of "It's My Party" rings back to "Domino" and other Jessie J singles. The power-backed vocals (bordering on over-singing), the carefree lyrics and attitude, it's nothing we haven't heard from the British songstress before.

The over-singing is a real drawback to "It's My Party." Like her fellow power crooner pop star, Christina Aguilera, it's clear the Jessie J has some insane pipes. Able to hit high notes frequently and loudly, Jessie J does. It'd be nice to hear a more restrained single from the singer, because constantly belting out power notes and squeaking on occasion only goes so far.

There's nothing particularly striking or different about "It's My Party," but that doesn't mean the song itself is bad, per se... it's just more of the same and an even lesser version of "Domino."

Listen to "It's My Party" below.

Jessie J's follow-up to her 2011 album "Who You Are" will be released sometime in 2013. The record has yet to receive a title.
