Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Back Together? PHOTOS: Robsten Reunites in LA, R-Patz Packs Up More Stuff, Feelings Still Strong, Relationship 'Could Work' One Day

Since splitting up with longtime "Twilight" sweetheart Kristen Stewart earlier this year, Robert Pattinson's been spotted hanging out with several different ladies. But apparently there still might be some strong romantic feelings between the former Robsten couple. Over the weekend, R-Patz returned to L.A. to pick up some more of his stuff from K-Stew's home. But rumor has it that he also wanted to see her and talk a little bit... read on for some more inside details!

Check out some pics of Pattinson driving up to K-Stew's pad on August 4. Stewart was also apparently home at-the-time.

According to a Hollywood Life insider, "Rob initially reached out to Kristen because he wanted to stop by and pick up the rest of his stuff, but apparently he also wanted to see her."

The alleged source continues to explain the mini-reunion: "He stopped by on the weekend and they both spent some time together, catching up. Kristen was really happy to see him, but I think in the end they were both sad because they still have feelings for each other. It's not as simple as just getting back together. Seeing each other brought up a lot stuff for both of them. For now, work - not rebuilding a relationship - comes first. It's sad."

So, has Robsten romantically reconciled? Well, not yet. They're still just friends (although K-Stew supposedly wants more). But according to a "friend" of R-Patz, another rekindled relationship isn't totally out of the question - "He's told his friends that during a different time and different circumstances, they could make it work." 

Pattinson's been in-and-out of LA recently, spending most of his time in Canada filming scenes for the upcoming movie "Maps to the Stars." K-Stew keeps herself busy with work and hanging out with friends and her new pet pup.
