It's not exactly a new album but we'll take it. For the second time this year, we are happy to announce that Australian electronic group the Avalanches will be taking part in a compilation, giving us NEW MUSIC from the group that has been painfully silent since 2000's classic Since I Left You.
The group are contributing a cover to a tribute album of another legendary Australian act, Hunters & Collectors. Crucible: The Songs Of Hunters & Collectors will feature covers by Eddie Vedder, Cloud Control and Alpine among others.
The Avalanches contribution will be a remix of H&C's "Talking To A Stranger" titled "Stalking To A Stranger (Planets Collide Remix)."
