Amy Adams stepped into the shoes of Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel this summer, but many fans remember Teri Hatcher's performance in "The New Adventures of Lois & Clark" television series.
Hatcher recently sat down with Digital Spy and gave her opinion on Man of Steel:
"I really enjoyed it. I kind of joked like, 'Wow, (Henry Cavill) should work on his body.' That was the weak point," Hatcher said. "Like anyone could say that with a straight face.
I think what I loved the most about it is, just that Superman in general, is that people keep wanting to see this story and everyone that gets to play those characters brings some new, fresh, unique take to it. There's always a new level of technology that gets put into the movie making and that's cool and exciting.
But I think, in the end, what I think carries through so strongly is the relationship between Lois and Clark, or Lois and Superman. And even in that movie, that was my favorite part of it and I kind of wished for a little bit more of seeing them and their relationship together. So I look forward to the next one."
The interviewer then asked Hatcher if she would be interested in a cameo in the next Man of Steel movie (known for now as Batman vs. Superman or simply the Batman/Superman movie).
She did not really answer the question and instead talked about her cameo on the Superman television show "Smallville," in which she played Lois Lane's mother on an old videotape.
An appearance by Hatcher would only add to the numerous references and Easter eggs that Snyder has placed in his Superman series to this point.
