Guns N' Roses NEW MUSIC: 'Going Down' Leaks, Is GNR Working On 'Chinese Democracy' New Album Follow-up?

Guns N' Roses have leaked a bit of new music on to the Interwebs. While there's no telling if "Going Down" is from a new album that is in the works, one thing is for certain: GNR are distancing themselves from the disappointing post-50 cock rock of Chinese Democracy.

The track plays like GNR are finally acknowledging the last 2o years of rock music, all in one song. We start with the sort of notes that mark a "November Rain"-like ballad and you settle in for more of the same before Axl surprises with some late-stage Avenged Sevenfold vocals.

Before the shock of that can wear off, the track takes a sudden left and morphs into a Weezer tribute, all chugging guitars, slightly distorted vox and pop sensibility. It's really something else and it's definitely the most interesting thing that Guns N Roses have done (that didn't involve violence or the word "antics") in quite a while.
