MTV's "Making of the Band" Danity Kane made their announcement during the MTV's VMAs pre-show that they are back together and working on their latest album with original members Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Audrea Fimbres  with the exception of D-Woods also known as, Wanita Woodgette.

Us Weekly previously reported that the girls were to debut their new looks together on the red carpet at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn without original member D Woods, who told the magazine that she would only support the girls as a fan and not a member.

D Woods told Us Weekly, "Much love to the ladies of DK!! They have decided to reunite and I, like our amazing fans, will be cheering them on."

The 28-year-old explained that she wanted to concentrate on her own work in music and television, "For the past couple of years, myself and the other DK members have been working on other projects individually, such as music, film, television, theater and philanthropy and I have recently signed on to several projects that will have me committed for the next year. My latest single "Gold Mine" is now available everywhere!"

Although, D Woods will not appear with the girl group on their next album, she did say she was open to collaborating on music or even performing with them if they were open with the idea, "If the opportunity presents itself, I would definitely be open to recording and/or performing with Danity Kane again," she continued. "I appreciate all the love and support of DK and myself. God bless!"

During their interview on the pre-show red carpet the girls said they will not be working with Diddy this time around. Will they be as successful without Diddy?
