Mariah Carey, Kanye West Fight: Kim Kardashian Defends North West's Father? Mariah Slams Kanye Over Diva Behavior

Mariah Carey snapped on Def Jam executives over Kanye West's diva antics.

According to Star Magazine, the "Hero" singer lost her cool with Island Def Jam executives over finances put into the rapper's music than hers, "Mariah threw a temper tantrum and accused execs at Island Def Jam of not making the same investment in her as they do in Kanye," a source says.

The singer was livid about the amount of attention West was receiving that she compared herself to his music and attacked his credibility and a source says, "She blew up in a meeting and called Kanye a 'self-centered crybaby' and said his music is angry and misogynistic. She kept going, 'Yeezus! Who calls themselves Yeezus?"

West received word that Carey was upset with him and wanted to confront her some of her comments,  "When word got back to Kanye that Mariah was trash-talking him, he was furious," the source added, "He called her several times, but Mariah never returned the calls."
