Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" dominated not only the VMAs but continues to dominate the Billboard Hot 100. The genre-bending, controversial earworm of a song sits at the top spot in the country for the 12th week in a row, according to Billboard.

As seems to be commonplace these days, "Blurred Lines" constant play on radio stations is what seems to be keeping it at the peak of the Hot 100. Thicke's song continues to hold off other huge hits, including new songs from Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

For the second week in a row, Katy Perry's first "Prism" single "Roar" is at No. 2 on the Hot 100. After selling like hotcakes last week, "Roar" took a dip on the digital charts but increased its presence on radio and on streaming sites, keeping the track at a steady peak.

Meanwhile, Gaga's "Applause" rose to No. 4 on the Hot 100, rising two spots from last week's No. 6. Between Perry and Gaga is this week's most talked about pop starlet: Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" is at No. 3 for yet another week.

Getting away from VMA performers, Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive" still manages to find a spot in the top 10 of the Billboard charts and rounds out the very peak of the chart at No. 5.

Jay Z and Justin Timberlake's "Magna Carta" single "Holy Grail" was bumped out of the top five by Gaga, and stumbles down a spot to No. 6.

Avicii's "Wake Me Up" (No. 7), Capital Cities' "Safe And Sound" (No. 8), Lana Del Rey & Cedric Gervais' remix of "Summertime Sadness" (No. 9) and Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" (No. 10) round out the top 10 spots.
