It looks like Lil Wayne will be ready to call it quits in 2018, after just short of two decades in the rap game. Talking to Katie Couric (who always seems to bring out the realness in Weezy) on Katie, Wayne said he'll be looking to retire in five years.

"Oh, I know I'll be able to retire at 35, 'cause I'm so ready to retire now," Wayne, 30, said.

Lil Wayne also spoke on what he would do if he were to retire, which seemed to be hanging out with his kids and doing a whole lot of nothing at all.

"I don't want to be no influence like, 'Hey you must do this' or 'Hey you must do that,' because I didn't have that, and so because I didn't have that, I grew up to be exactly what I wanted to be and how I wanted to be," Wayne said.

In other previews Wayne spoke on his famous decision to drop out of high school and his recent prison stint.

Lil Wayne's Katie interview airs today at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
