Despite the fact that "The Way" singer Ariana Grande and Janoskians performer Jai Brooks were reported to have broken up last month (and all those rumors that she's dating The Wanted member and "Almost Is Never Enough" partner Nathan Sykes), it seems as though the two are still friendly (at the very least) and the former couple may have even reignited their relationship.

According to Brooks' Twitter, he was in Los Angeles on Sept. 9 and saw Grande's final Listening Sessions tour performance. "At arianas show in LA! She looks extremely beautiful on stage," he wrote along with a doe-eyed love emoji icon.

It's not as though Brooks was just there without Grande's knowledge, either. After her concert, Grande responded to his social media message with a pet name and her own love-themed emoticons. "[T]hank you chook," she wrote on her Twitter alongside two hearts and a dancer. The conversation ended with Brooks writing, "chooooookens," and a heart.

The exchange was mightily confusing for hardcore "Jariana" fans, who are now questioning whether or not Grande and Brooks have gotten back together.

This wouldn't be the first time that Grande and Brooks would have broken up and gotten back together again. In February, the couple broke things off for a month or so due to distance, but reunited. If this break up was for similar reasons, it's not out of the question that they would break up and make up, yet again.

Grande has recently been linked to The Wanted member Nathan Sykes, but those two have been coy about the status of their relationship, with Grande's father emphasizing that the two are just friends.
