Simon Cowell thinks Rita Ora has the "X-Factor" - and he wants her as a perminant judge on the USA's next season. Allegedly.

The "Hot Right Now" songstress served as a temporary judge on last year's "X-Factor" in the UK - and apparently Cowell thinks she has some major potential.

In fact, 22-year-old Ora was spotted at Cowell's LA mansion on Wednesday evening (Sept 25) for a summit meeting. And they weren't just catching-up - the two stars were definitely "discussing business." Cowell's spokesperson confirms to Music News:

"Rita was not there for dinner on Wednesday night. She was there for a meeting and there were business colleagues with her."

After her successful gig in the UK last year, Cowell wanted to sign Ora right away. But Rob Kardashian's ex still has some reservations, because she wants to focus on the growth of her own music career:

"There were talks. But if I were to take on that role it would have to be at a point when I could give it my full attention," Ora explained after Simon offered her the job last year. 'I have so much to accomplish first and it's kind of a full-time job being on X Factor. It's not like a nine to five. It's constant, for months... I love it but if I was to take on a full-time role it would be at a point when I'm loads of albums in."

Wonder if Cowell was convincing enough during their dinner on Wednesday?

What do Mstars fans think - could Ora boost the "X-Factor" ratings?
